November 2007: Danced in Florentine Opera’s “The Merry Widow” as a Grisette (Can Can girl)

October 2007: Danced “Housewife in 3 Movements” and David Parker’s “Show Business” in Moyamo Dance’s “Working Lunch” Concert at the Hamlin Park Field House, Chicago, IL.  Had a blast with Artistic Director Anna Sapozhnikov, dancer extraordinaire Erika Randall and friends and alumni from UIUC!

August 2007: Learned Sara Hook’s “Rue” in Champaign-Urbana, IL

July 2007: Attended Motus Humanus annual conference (focus on Movement Pattern Analysis) at St. Olaf’s College in Northfield, Minnesota

March 2008: Luc Vanier’s “Women if Possible” selected for and performed in the Gala Concert at the American College Dance Festival, North-Central Region’s festival, Madison, WI.

February 2008: Presented a re-worked version of “Women if Possible” for the UWM Winterdances concert to be presented for adjudication at the American College Dance Festival.

October 2007: Attended the IADMS conference in Australia and taught workshops in Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne

August 2007: Elizabeth performs in the Danceworks “Cabaret” series.  New solo: “April Fooled Me,” live performance of the song by Jerome Kern/Dorothy Fields interpreted by Jamie Johns and Becky Spice.

June 2007: YMD invited to perform at Wisconsin Presenters Network Showcase, Stephanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts/John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, WI.

April/May 2007: “The Fun in Dysfunctional” at Danceworks Studio Theatre.  New works: “Belle Indifference” (Elizabeth) and reworked “Women if Possible” (Luc). Other works: Houswife in 3 Movements (Elizabeth), Critical Mass (Sara Hook/David Parker)

October 2006: Luc and Elizabeth perform Cate Deicher’s Tango for Present Music in Vogel Hall, Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, Milwaukee.

September 2006: Elizabeth travels to New York City to present her dance “Take My Box” in the DancenOw/NYC DancemOpolitanseries at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater.

August 2006: Luc travels to Russia with Link Vostok (Minneapolis).  Performs solo version of his dance “Somewhere” with his original interactive technology design in the International Festival of Movement and Dance on the Volga in Yaroslavl, Russia.

August 2006: Elizabeth presents new dance “Housewife in 3 Movements” as part of the Danceworks Cabaret series, Danceworks Studio Theatre, Milwaukee, WI.  

May 2006: Milwaukee Debut of “Your Mother Dances and Other Questionable Influences” at Danceworks Studio Theatre. Original works “Lead Cathedral,” “L’Axis Feminine,” “Idol Time,” “My Little Vacuous Complicities,” and “My Debut (1975).” Other works: “Comfort” (Molly Rabinowitz), “Show Business”(David Parker), “Synch” (Luc).

March 2006: Elizabeth performs Molly Rabniowitz’s solo “Comfort” at Joyce SoHo in New York City as part of the Performance Mix series.

December 2005: Elizabeth tours with David Parker and The Bang Group performing his vaudevillian “Nut/Cracked.” Performances include the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa, FL, Winter Garden at World Financial Center NYC, and Two Rivers Theatre, Red Bank, NJ.

November 2005: Elizabeth performs Molly Rabniowitz’s solo “Comfort” at Community Education Center, Philadelphia, PA as part of the Performance Mix series

August 2005: Elizabeth travels to Edinburgh, Scotland to perform “Nut/Cracked” with David Parker and The Bang Group in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

July 2005: Elizabeth performs in Molly Rabinowitz’s dance “As Good as She Was Beautiful” in the UWM Dancemakers Concert of graduate student work.

June 2005: Luc and Elizabeth perform duet “Housebroken” at UWM’s SummerDances in Milwaukee.  Elizabeth travels to Louisville, Kentucky to present her dances “My Little Vacuous Complicities” and “L’Axis Feminine” in Moyamo Dance’s concert “FEM” at Playhouse Theatre, University of Louisville.

May 2005: Elizabeth presents “Take My Box” and “L’Axis Feminine” at the Soaking WET series at The West End Theatre in New York City.
